This Year, Give Your Child the World!
Adventures in Nature is a day camp offered every summer and seasonally throughout the school year. Children in grades K through 2 have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of Museum topics - Earth's features, creatures, and cultures from around the globe. Enroll your children in our hands-on, interactive classes and they will learn about fascinating topics through active encounters that spark children's natural curiosity and creativity.
All camps are from 9 am to 5 pm daily and are one week in length.
Whatever your child's age, McKenna Children's Museum is the perfect location for your next celebration! Make your child's next party unforgettable. We offer a variety of party menus, or you can let the kids do the cooking, ingredients included. No outside food or drink is allowed to be brought in for birthday parties. Our affordable birthday party prices allow your children to celebrate in a safe and creative environment while you relax.

An exclusive look at our mission in action
Immerse yourselves into the heart of our mission - rescue, rehabilitation, and release. Learn about our inspiring success stories and notable past rescues, accessible only to the behind the scenes tour guests. Observe animals undergoing rehabilitation as you walk through our open-air critical care facility, (closed to the general public) and discover what's involved in processing the thousands of pounds of fish that our resident animals consume each month with a walk through the fish prep area.
Maximum 10 people per tour with a minimum age of 7 years old.
The tour is 45 minutes long.

A party of 15 or more paid individuals can qualify for the group discount. You may order any combination of group adult or group child tickets to reach the minimum required purchase of 15 total tickets. Regular price will be shown in the cart until 15 tickets are ordered.
All our animals are available for adoption providing funding for aspects of care for one year.

Space is limited. Once you have made your paves stone inscription a museum docent will contact you and assist you with selecting a location for your stone.

Lighthouse Cafe weekday hours of operation are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend hours of operation are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
